Made a simple dessert for iftar today.. Cocoa jelly!
A
20g agar-agar strips
1500ml water
(to measure the amount of water needed - 1 part agar-agar, 2 parts of water required)
B
110g sugar (reduce if you don't like it sweet)
1/2 tin sweet condensed milk
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 egg
Cook A first in a pot until the agar-agar fully dissolve. Once dissolved, add in the sugar. Stir well till the sugar melts. Then, add in the condensed milk. I reduced both the milk as I don't like it to be too sweet. Next, I sieved in the cocoa. Mix well. Lastly, add in a beaten egg for some marble effect. Sieve into any shaped moulds. Let it cool before putting in the fridge.
